Always a great place for a weekend dinner. Come at 6pm to avoid crowds. Reservation not needed. They use a QR code for you to scan, and you use a mobile web app to place your orders. The meats are great, and they have ice cream for dessert. The broth is also wonderful
a so so experience at this place, i had heard a lot abou ththe good food served here, but i dont know what went wrong and everything tasted bland
Incredibly satisfying Laksa for an incredible price. Wish I could be back in Singapore just to eat this man, damn shiok. Definitely recommend, the medium was a good size for lunch.
This is a must-have laksa when visiting Singapore. This has been here for ages, although the title as the first to open laksa shop is debatable. I like the springy noodle with tasty broth. The best part is the shrimp paste, where the distinctive flavor begins. Just come and enjoy. Several branches can be found all over Singapore, one of them is at Jurong WestGate Mall.
People keep telling me this is the best and traditional Singaporean Laksa (they called katong laksa) in Singapore. I’m a big fan of laksa. I tried katong laksa once by a Singaporean chef and was very impressed. Therefore I expected a lot from this well known katong laksa restaurant. I liked the soup based blended with dried shrimp, but it somehow still slightly lacking of some spices. The part I love was the amount of clams they put into it. Overall I wouldn’t say it was disappointing, but I did expect more as they we crowned as World Best Laksa.
Visiting here after a long time. Not as crowded as before but still very good and original. The otak grill in Banana leaf was 4 stars! The chili crab bun also 4 stars. All dishes very fresh and tasty. Still a place to try out if you are craving for local style laksa.
