Really good dosas and nicely made tea were what we had here. It’s a cozy place serving authentic vegetarian South Indian food in the Changi Airport. It’s quite amusing to dine in at a place that shares your name.
My parents are very old and travelling via Changi airport to India. I called in merely to ask if the restaurant can help with packing or delivering to the hotel room within the airport. Before I could even suggest alternatives such as them handing the dinner over to a medical attendant with my parents, I was told a blunt no. They did not wait to even listen to what more I had to say.. I even tried xplaining that my parents will be on a wheelchair and cannot physically walk to their restaurant. The guy hears me and simply says, “maybe they cannot walk, but this is a dine-in restaurant. So we cannot help”. Terrible service. The guy clearly did not know how to address different situations.
Probably one of the few restaurants abroad selling authentic Indian food. We had vegetarian thalis, which really surprised us! They served lauki-chana dal, moong sabut, bhindi masala and rai aloo. Like seriously!!!!Never expected to find such a good place to eat in a sea of non vegetarian outlets. The rice and garlic naan were amazing. And to top it all, we had the most amazing masala chai. I was totally craving for more food even though I was full. Good place for professionals travelling to Singapore and looking for home style Indian food. The south Indian preparations looked good as well. And so did all the other dishes. Totally going to have a meal on every visit to Singapore.
This is located at food court of terminal 2. They have everything vegetarian. Simple and short menu. Ordered biryani and a thali here. Taste was average. Portions are sufficient.
This resturant is at terminal 2 of Changi airport. Food is just average and that greatOrdered thalis tasted just okay. South indian food was good.
