The restaurant was recommended by the concierge At the Shangri La..Johnny. and we were definitely not dissappointed. The ambience was great, we were 6 pax and seated at the round table at the centre.Service 5/5. The server was quick. The food arrived quick. But special mention of their ability to cater to all the food tastes around the table. Ie. Chicken, shrimp, fish and meat.Food 6/5. Although the kung pau was not on the menu the chef was able to whip up some for us. Special call out to the kungpau, spring roll, cod, and shrimp, brown rice and amazing green tea.The meat was tender almost melting once it reached the palate. Will visit again.
Had my dim sum craving fixed.. staff are courteous and attentive.. we received warm welcome from the lovely ladies (Teresa and Pei pei) absolutely love the dishes that was recommended by Pei pei.. Great food by Chef Mok! It was a pleasant dining experience in Singapore! Definitely will come back again!
Shang Palace is located in the very elegant Shangri La hotel. I have dined there a few times and it has always been very good indeed. The service is at a level commensurate with this 5-star hotel – attentive but not intrusive. There is a variety of menu options; a la carte, banquets etc. The a la carte menu is extensive and you would be very fussy indeed not to find something agreeable. The restaurant also features an extensive wine list, though it is at pricey end. The food is good value for money, but this is not street food and so you should expect to pay $30+ for a plate.
