Ah Er Lao Huo Tang is a popular Cantonese-style soup stall at ABC Brickworks hawker centre which was recently awardee a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The hawker centre specialises in delicious soup and you can select from a limited range of soups prepared daily.I got myself a Buddha Jump Over the Wall. The herbal soup comprises thick layers of fish maw, sea cucumber, chicken meat and my favourite shitake mushrooms. The MSG-free soup is a combination of the sweet dates, mushrooms and other herbals and tastes refreshing and delicious. My only peeve was an underwhelming bowl of pumpkin rice. They can do better than that.
