I got food delivered via deliveroo, ordered mapo tofu, smashed cucumber and potato noodles. I enjoyed mapo tofu it was made with chicken mince instead of pork which i loved and it was spicy but not overly which was also great. Smashed cucumber was good, although I think it could have chili in them to make it less plain. I loved potato noodle, it is very tasty and the serving size was huge for the price. All and I enjoyed the food, will order again. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
Not often does one get a 5 rater, Qi is in that context, amazing! It’s not all that surprising though when I tell you it’s a Michelin star restaurant! One of the 3 I’ve been to, there’s another one in HK, but that will have to be another review. On the HK island, you need to know where you’re going, this place boasts of a cuisine that may not be for everyone in terms of it’s sourness and chilly, spices etc. The wife, Jasleen Talwar and went here with friends and we’re clearly people who enjoy food that makes one sweat. This time around, we were here for lunch and ordered their set lunches, each trying a different option. Apart from that we ordered a soup and another starter of pork in veggie cups. The food itself was delicious, the dimsums, one in chilli sauce and the other in peanut sauce were amazing in themselves. The tofu, beans and green curry which we ordered in the mains with Dan Dan noodles and rice, were each one better than the other. Am told the chilly pork that we ordered was really hot, but then we got what we asked for in a place that speacialises in such cuisine.Loved the meal, but not with those who can’t handle their spices.Recommended.
