Unlike the one in Hong Kong this place is one of the seven outlets in Singapore , didn’t have the humongous crowds waiting for a seat. The food was equally good befitting it’s Michelin rating
Never had the chance to sample this place when in Melbourne, so when I stumbled across it in Plaza Singapura, I had to give it a go. The fried rice was yum and so was the vegetarian Cheong fun. The stand out dish for me was the chilli crab dumpling, a real winner! I wasn’t a fan of the Lime liquorice drink, but that’s just me. However I am a real big fan of was the lovely and friendly service that I received from the waitresses. All in all a good visit.
Not quite up to my expectations.. I have been told that Tim Ho Wan got a Michelin Star but when we came there for breakfast, it was just as tasty as few other dim sums in Singapore. The service itself is okay, the food and pricing is good. However it was just not like what I expected it. And one thing I would like to complain about is the volume of music that would be too loud, made it hard to chat.
While the service leaves something to be desired the food here is just EXQUISITE. The yummiest pork baos EVER. The pork chilli dim sum is also excellent. And the egg tarts were also great. I would eat here every day if I could!
One thing I love so much about living in Singapore is you can order anything home delivered! Even yumcha! Coming from Sydney I used to love going to yumcha on weekends now I can deliver to home in 30 mins via deliveroo. This place one of my go to yumcha restaurant; their dumpling is fresh and dumpling dough is thin and fillings are delicious and well seasoned. I also love their Wanton noodle soup. I think the price of dishes are very reasonable and the quality of food consistent. Highly recommended this restaurant! goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
