It’s one of the must go places in Singapore. Like the name the place is Crazy and fun. A Mexican bar with beautiful outdoor garden seating boasting some authentic Mexican street food and some ritzy Fabulous drinks on the menu. I tried PASSIONFRUIT SMAASHITO on tequila base. Vodka base is an option too. This cocktail is an signature made of some tasty passionfruit and served with edible caramelised passionfruit that’s more than decorative.ELOTES: a Mexican street food and another speciality of the LUCHA LOCO. I never imagined that corn can be improvised into so much of tastiness. ELOTES Is crafted with boiled Mexican soft corn (not Indian) seasoned with authentic different Mexican spices and cheese shavings. A simple dish but so heavenly tasty. An amazing place to grab Mexican food and drinks.

It seems most of the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the Southeast Asia have a few token Mexican or Tex-Mex style dishes, then regular western food for the rest of the menu, so I was pleasantly surprised that Lucha Loco a very large selection of Tex-Mex style dishes. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable, although later in the evening the music was a bit too loud for my old ears. Service was outstanding, fast service for the food and friendly servers always available to replenish our beers. Overall a very nice experience and I will definitely go back.
First time ever at this Mexican restaurant and I must say I’m impressed. The vibes are decidedly charming, right down to the cactus hedges to make you feel like you’re in Mexico.The servers are warm and friendly and our birthday celebration came complete with Mexican music-infused Happy Birthday song and a rainbow-coloured sombrero hat for the birthday girl.The margaritas here are really tasty and flavourful and I particularly liked the pineapple margarita. The stout that they do in-house tasted somewhat salty and weird though.All the dishes we ordered were good, especially the tacos. I highly recommend the fish taco.
