We had heard this was the place to go for Hainanese Chicken Rice, Tian Tian is easy to find look for a long line of people waiting to place an order.Oh wow, this meal was so good exceeded our expectations, we went on to try this dish in other venues in Singapore and have to say this was the best. The downside is that it’s not unusual to wait in line for over half an hour to order and get food, then you have to find a table
I reached at 3 PM and there was still a small queue . Got my turn in 3-4 minutes .. had already got my family a table . The chicken was succulent , and rice with 2 salads were a nice combination . I would personally prefer the chicken to be piping hot but for this dish it is served cold . They serve 2 sauces , 1 ginger and another spicy one . You may taste them to vary the quantity in rice to suite you , but do have them . I had taken 3 portions of the dish and the 2 salads were complimentary . One was a sprouts salad the other a lot greens . I had tried this dish at Paragon food court and at the local food stall at the night safari . The rice and chicken were a similar flavour , portion of salad smaller . The Hainanese chicken and rice are almost identical wherever you eat it , the difference is in the accompaniments like salads and ginger sauce . So my take on this place is it is a good one to visit , if you have high expectation of something out of the world it will be a let down , especially if you have tried this dish else where . it’s definitely a good option if you are visiting China town .
Best Hainan chicken rice in Singapore!! The rice is so tasty and fragrant you can eat it on your own. Chicken is so well cooked and for a $5 price really i must say it is the best. Located at the Maxwell Food Center, place can be crowded and hot, and definitely a long queue during lunch time especially weekends. Closed on Mondays.
Absolute. Blown. Away.The most succulent, tender, juicy chicken ever. The most aromatic, soft, fluffy chicken rice.Not much more to say other than that you can’t leave Singapore without eating at Tian Tian.
best food for non veg lover . chiken rice bowl is really amazing in taste and the staffs were really awesome and helping . good ambience there.
