Altitude is set on the top of the telecom tower of Bratislava on the 28 th floor We landed up going here as the UFO tower restaurant was closed for a private event the day we were in Bratislava The restaurant is a fine dining restaurant While menu is limited and there are no cocktails in beverages , the limited menu makes it easier to maintain quality which is top notch Each dish is plated very well We tried the beef soup and the asparagus soup , the latter was the right consistency and well made For mains we ordered the trout fish wrapped in bacon , the pork which were both well done and very tasty The quantity is adequate for one person For desserts – they have 3 desserts listed on the menu , the altitude chocolate dessert with the cone and cake wins hands downBe sure to make a reservation here ! The views and food make this dining experience one of the finest in Eastern Europe !
Boli sme tu ako partia 5 ľudí. Po nastúpení do výťahu tam bol zrovna jeden z personálu, ktorý sa nám hneď aj venoval a vysvetlil, kde čo je. Išli sme teda až na vrch, kde nie je otočná časť, ale dá sa tam tiež najesť. Paradoxne aj cenovo na úrovni cien v meste, ale samozrejme sú tam pokrmy aj vo vyššej cenovej hladine. Na fotky krásne miesto, aj keď presklenné to nie je bez prerušenia stĺpmi a von pred okno sa nedalo ísť, predsa, je to dávno postavené, no aj tak úžasné, že niečo také v meste máme. Na jedenie som mal tempeh a bol úžasný, aj keď zjedol by som aj viac toho. Ostatní mali palacinky, tiež sme si tam objednávali minerálku, pivo a mali sme príjemný pokec a večer. Taktiež WC majú čisté, moderné a s krásnym výhľadom. Neskôr sme išli aj schodmi pozrieť do otočnej reštaurácie pod nami, kde si pamätám som bol kedysi dávno a výťahom dole, kde nás recepčná aj rada odfotila. Tú fotku sem ale nedám, to by som sa musel spýtať aj tých, čo na nej sú, no k ochote zamestnancov len palec hore. presvedčilo ma to tu toľko, že sem ešte veľmi rád zavítam, ak sa vyskytne príležitosť. Možno by to chcelo sa popri propagácii zamerať aj na to, aby turisti sa na dané miesto bez problémov dostali a vedeli akými cestami, lebo ozaj je Bratislava v niektorých miestach, aj hore v Karpatoch dosť kľukatá a neprehľadná.
