Neat tidy cosy restaurant in Grahamstown.Was told that steaks are pretty good there. Starters were venison carpaccio with juniper berry dressing, lettuce leaves, garlic croutons and Parmesan shavings. Soup of day was potato and leek.For mains we both decided to go with steak Diane one with brandy sauce, the other blue cheese sauce.Asked for medium rare and they were served perfectly. Vanilla pod crème brûlée.Wine was Ken Forrester Petit chenin blanc.Service was friendly and proficient.
Very pleasant, away from the crowds. Good service and decent quality and value. The pork belly and Crème Brulèe were exceptional. Good wine list at reasonable prices. Don’t forget about this option, Grahamstonians! The decor could do with some sprucing up, though.

This place is a hidden gem! Private and secluded. Perfect for dates. The service was impressive and the lamb shank was absolutely beautiful!
