About
Kingston Farm is a small peaceful guest farm in the rural Eastern Cape. The main building dates back to 1902 and has been carefully restored. There is also an award-winning restaurant on site. There are three separate apartments available. One has two bedrooms and is ideal for families. The second apartment has a king-sized bedroom and the third has two large single beds, which can be made up as a double. All of the apartments have an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower as well as kitchen facilities. There are barbecue facilities in the gardens for guests to enjoy and free wi-fi throughout. We are a working farm with appaloosa horses and we also raise our own ducks. The restaurant serves a three course prix-fixe menu for both lunch and dinner as well as a very good breakfast for guests. Reservations for all meals should be made in advance. There is also a bar where we stock the locally produced craft beers and the prestigious wines of Thelma Mountain Vineyard. We are situated just outside of the village of Bathurst, which is between Port Alfred and Grahamstown. There is a wealth of history in the area as well as the beautiful coastline and natural bush.
