Here we were in Bloem looking for a quick brekkie before our meeting. Since we are in a hurry decided to give a place a chance even though I knew they are more of a lounge place than brekkie place. Ambience = 3. Typical of Cubana decor, open and spacious. Since this is not normally associated with brekkie , place was eerily emptyFood = 3. Ordered health breakfast which is served in a cocktail glass – muesli served with yoghurt and fruit accompanied by juice. The juice didn’t taste like real – mixing of sorts going on there. My colleague had Dino Burrito which is tortilla filled with eggs, bacon and tomato, put in the oven with cheese on top and salsa. He thoroughly enjoyed that. Service = 2. Very slow, very tardy – which is typical of Bloem. Better come to Cubana for what it’s renowned for – nightlife.
