I had a lamb Souvlaki, the meat was drenched in basting, very little tzatziki and was rare. Sent it back, it arrived back once my partner had finished their meals. The pita was toasted so much so that it was crunchy and too hard to cut. Very disappointed, will never go back.

The service was very slow. I ordered a giro. The pita was toasted so hard one could barely cut it, the meat was hard and almost burned & the pita was piled high with tomato & onion slices, lots of yoghurt & a minimum of burned meat. A very unappetising meal. I won’t be going back.Roy van der Veen, Bfn

On a cold Saturday afternoon my.husband and I travelling from Kimberley decided we are in the mood for some good food, something out of the ordinary. We walked into Flames, and my first impression was that we were not dressed for the occasion, as it was very classy and elegant. As we are smokers we proceeded to the smoking area which was much more relaxed, and huge!Food was amazing! Feel free to try the trio of carpaccio, queen prawns and chicken espatada! Service with a smile, nice manager who makes sure everyone is comfortable and a lovely atmosphere!Only one small suggestion to them, don’t repeat the same CD over and over again. We were there for almost 2 hours and we listened to the same music over and over. Also, just make sure to wipe sideplates out before presenting them to clients for bread etc. Ours was quite dusty, but it can be easily fixed. Amazing place, will definitely go there again!

Must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — I had the rib & chicken wing combo, and didn’t even need my knife! The meat was so tender it fell off the bones! The staff are friendly and the owner comes and greets the guests at their table. I will definitely be going back and recommending it to my friends.
