The food and service was great. The problem was the manager thought it is great to rip of people from out of town by asking them R210 and R120 for corkage per bottle of wine. I am absolutely disgusted and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Happy to pay a fair price but this was extortion!
Went to New York based on recommendation. We were not disappointed as the service was of vey high standard. The meal preparation was perfect. I prefer my steak rare and most restaurants interpret that as rare tomedium. Not so at New York the steak arrived done to perfection. The pepper sauce was also done quite well. Again an area where many restaurants fail miserably. A definite visit for all steak lovers when in Bloemfontein.

The food was bland, lacked presentation and the steaks we ordered were not cooked the way we asked to have them. The cutlery was mismatched and filthy. The quality of the food and the prices do not match
