What a delightful surprise when we found this fantastic little spot. Tucked away in the corner of the Square, the place oozes charm from the front door. Fresh fare prepared from scratch (but well worth the wait) at very reasonable prices, and the gracious and courteous staff all make the visit most enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back to try out the dessert menu and look around the herb gardens

We visited for my sons birthday and had lunch, the service is great and staff are friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, made to perfection and the desserts were amazing, not to mention the vegan/dairy free options that were available for my kids who have dairy allergies – they were delighted to have ice-cream for once as most restaurants don’t cater for their allergies. Hentie our host was absolutely wonderful, she showed us around her herb garden with a crash course on herbs and flowers some of which we could purchase, the restaurant has a warm and inviting feel with a variety of beauty products, herbs and spices, preserves and teas amongst other things that you could indulge in, it was the perfect setting to unwind and relax around beautiful décor, thank you Hentie for making my sons birthday special and for being the perfect host, your hospitability, kindness and warmth is amazing – God bless – #Good Thyme Living rocks !!!
We have been to Good Thyme twice. Whether Hentie is there or not, the standard and vibe is the same. The food is delicious, down to earth. Good food doesn’t need frills. A good choice for a meal whether you’re a carnivore, vegetarian or vegan.
