Not being a drinking person, I can’t speak for what Raziolli’s is like as a pub.  As a restaurant, well we went there and sat down inside.  Wonderful, comfortable chairs with soft cushions, unlike the awful chairs in so many restaurants.  That’s a plus.  The waiter seemed very confused.  One of us ordered canneloni and he asked if we want it with spaghetti, penne, or fettucini.  We couldn’t make him understand that canneloni is its own kind of pasta, until another waiter called him away and said it was ok.  We ordered Italian bread and I ordered a Malaysian chicken curry pizza to take home.  Clearly the waiter has little training and no knowledge of the menu.  The bread never came; we cancelled it.  The pastas came after more than 45 minutes–big portions, but without exception totally bland and tasteless–and very hot—which in my opinion are all indicators that these pastas had been frozen and then reheated.  It took forever to get the bill.  The waiter disappeared altogether and the pizza chef, seeing that we needed him, rang for him twice and he didn’t come.  The other waiter, the one who knew what canneloni was, came to our rescue, but it took him 15 minutes to figure out where the machine was, and by that time, we had gathered enough cash to pay.  No manager came to ask us how things were.  So we got bad food and bad service.  On the plus side, the takeaway pizza I ordered was superb–very tasty.  Made fresh, you see, unlike the pasta.  So my recommendation to anyone who were to ask me whether to go to Raziolli’s would be, don’t eat there (notwithstanding the comfy chairs) but feel free to order pizza (but NOT pasta) to take away.

We used to eat here quite often at one stage but hadn’t been for over a year and decided last night to pop in for dinner. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, that was the only saving grace here. I ordered a nepolitano pasta and it was disgusting. It honestly just tasted like a tin of tomato and onion mix warmed up and thrown over soggy fettuccine. Such a shame cause I used to enjoy the food here. I probably won’t be back

This is not the place to go for a romantic meal, but it really does serve the best pizza in town. By some way. Thin crust, bulky toppings. The best there is.
