I have eaten at Villa funchal so many times, I can’t keep track. Even had platters made up for office functions. All delicious. I’ve never had the need to send anything back – EVER.My regular back up for a quick bite without the frills.Great staff, good music and even better prices.Love the place !!!!

Not exactly a dream location, and the service was average, at best. There is a lovely large play area for children, and the food was pretty good. I had trinchado starter which was made in delicious sauce and a really beautifully seasoned espetada for mains. They didn’t get the rare exactly right, which is always a bit annoying.
