BEST Curry in town. If you are looking for a good curry cooked with love and full of flavour treat yourself to one of Maharani Restaurant’s curries. Have been buying from here since they opened few years ago, and it has now become our weekly go to place, especially for the bunny chow. Everything on the menu is great! Flavorful, the right amount of chilli powder for some heat, fresh ingredients, very tasty.
I love Indian food, and I got super excited when this place opened up. A few items which were on the menu weren’t available (even after a month of being open) so I ordered a chicken briyani. Also unavailable after they were in the kitchen a few minutes, and suddenly they offered me a lamb briyani. This was made with a really poor quality rice, and lacked flavour. It wasn’t fresh because by the time I had it, the oil had hardened and clung onto the rice to make it thick and gooey. Minimal flavour, poor choice of ingredients.
