The place is very beautiful but when you order a basket of food costing R72 you’d expect a lot more than one chicken strip, two mini cheese grillers and about 5 small halloumi cubes. Also having four pieces of toast and one stick of butter between the entire table just doesn’t seem right to me?Service is good, the waiters are polite and helpful.The atmosphere is amazing, there is a beautiful bird garden to walk around and a nice shady tree to sit under.
This is the third I’ve been to the Blue Crane Tea Garden and I love it every time. It is set in a beautiful garden, with animals around wherever you turn.Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The vanilla milkshakes were very yummy. We also had the vegetarian basket, which was nice but I didnt think it was worth the R60 they charged. I am excited to return to this little place of paradise to try the caramel and chocolate pancakes:D.
This is a nice tea garden, situated in Boksburg, and is ideal for coffee, a quick drink, or a Sunday breakfast. The food was really good, portions were reasonable and the service was good. If you are in the area, you can try it out.
