Unfortunately your experience at Boa Vida will depend a lot on which manager is on duty. You can order exactly the same thing on two separate occasions and get charged differently. Also don’t try watching rugby there, unless you’re okay with Britney Spears and other girl pop hits of the 90s blaring in your ears. We’ve had good and bad times here, it’s a bit of a gamble though.
Not my favorite restaurant. The staff is friendly but the food was not really great. We planned on going there for the buffet but that looked quite disappointing , so we decided to eat al la carte. Not the best meal we had in boksburg. The decor is not my taste and it all looked a bit smudgy.
This place gets a 2, literally because that’s the lowest rating I can give it, because the service staff are quite attentive. Dark. Dingy. Dirty. Sticky (Literally, something got stuck to my arm from the table which I had to wash off), this place is all of these things. Complete with old arcade and slot machines. The menu looked alright – slightly below average pricing – could be a money saver. This could be your local drinking hole if you’re into the above, but it’s not mine.
