I bought food from African Hot Plate. Beef stew & samp as well as tripe and samp. The beef stew smelt really weird. I doubt the meat was fresh. Long story short, I had a runny tummy the whole night and I will never ever buy any food from them ever again.
I haven’t been served proper food in the two instances I got food here and probably will not be buying here in future. Please serve fresh meat, make us want to come back for more
We ordered the chicken, tripe, chicken feet trotters for takeaway. Please note that this was during December 2016.The tripe was okay. My only issue was it was cold, which means it’s wasn’t cooked on the day. The trotters were overcooked and not seasoned at all. The worst trotters I’ve ever had to be honest.The chicken and chicken feet were okay, nothing exciting.We had pap as our choice of starch, it was fine. I was disappointed and a bit annoyed when it smelled a bit off the following day. If you cook pap, anyone will tell that this is unusual. Overall we were disappointed considering that we were happy to finally find a place that serves our African food. I will give them another chance and provide feedback. I sincerely hope they’ve improved on their cooking and service.
