Used to be our favorite spot until last night when I called to collect only to get home and realized I’ve been served rotten sushi, this could be due to the power loadshedding lately but really that’s no excuse to serve customers rotten food, throw out the bad seafood and order afresh please, it’s extremely disappointing because I really did like the food before

They usually have decent sushi, but I somehow ended up with a platter that fell apart when you touched it. It’s a bit of a disappointment, really.
So after my less than satisfying experience at the Laughing Panda restaurant. The owner called me to humbly apologize for the bad experience and wished to rectify the problem and invited us for a meal to give them another chance. I was happy to pay for the second visit but the owner gave us the meal for free and 50% discount on the sushi. The dumplings the second time around were great and the sushi was delicious. When an owner is this determined to keep her customers happy then they definitely deserve to be in the food industry. I don’t think a owner of any restaurant has ever been this determined to rectify a mishap. We will definitely be back and keep up the great work.
One of my favourite sushi spots. Fresh sushi at great prices. Their sashimi though was disappointing because they just rolled trout to make it sashimi instead of actual salmon pieces. Otherwise been going here for their delicious meals
