Food is amazing hands down. This morning (however weird of a time it is to crave curry) I’m disappointed that the store doors are closed and chairs are still packed away at 9:30. It’s advertised as open from 9:00. One gentleman inside saw me and walked away so that’s nice.
Absolutely unbelievable reaction to my complaint on their FaceBook page. Instead of fixing complaint they blocked me ! OUTRAGEOUS. I live in the area and dine out at least 2 nights a week.My complaint : Table was in deep discussion and i indicated to waiter not to intrude. He did anyway. Bits of my bunnychow were FROZEN. No black label in stock (really? ). We were the only people sitting outside and just after 9pm all lights went out and waiter stood watching us with arms folded even though we had told him we wanted to finish our beers. Unprofessional in so many levels !!! I posted complaint to my fb page and a number of friends have had similar disappointments. Get your relations together Currylious your behaviour to date has not been inviting to your bread and butter people aka locals!
This is the second time I have been here and it’s definitely the last. The food is extremely bland, the service poor and it’s over priced for what you get. The portions are decent sizes but how does that help with underwhelming flavours. Save yourself the disappointment and get curry elsewhere.
I used to get takeaway from Currylicious in the past and never had issue, most of the time they had the food I placed an order for. Last night I placed an order for lamb madras on Appetite. I got an sms back saying they didn’t have that. Usually I would get a call back asking me what else they can offer me. This time I got a call from Appetite saying that they got hold of the restaurant to see what alternative they could come up with. The answer was that they were too busy at the restaurant to call me and could not be bothered. I’m not surprised by this arrogance, very little surprises me. I thought I’d drive past the place on the way home at 8pm just to see how busy they were. I counted maybe 6 diners and 1 more at the bar, perhaps they had more phone in orders than it appeared. Maybe those customers were all they needed to cover their break-even (and right before they close for Christmas and New Year).
Great vibe. Food is awesome. It’s my go to place for curry
