My boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here on a Friday night and we absolutely loved it! They allow you to bring your own drinks so we purchased a bottle of wine from Spar which is right next door. Super friendly staff and the food was amazing. We had the creamy mussels starter which was divine and for our mains, we ordered the chicken combos, I had mine with prawns and he had his with calamari, it was delicious. The portions are huge – we couldn’t finish what was on our plate. The hot flavoured chicken I had was really great and spicy! The 300g rump and chips is delicious too. We left feeling super satisfied. Thank you J’s Diner! We will be back.

Superb and consistent quality of Portuguese-style cuisine. Absolutely marvelous chicken livers peri-peri, prawns to die for, blue cheese salad that IS a blue cheese salad, steaks and ribs to perfection and chips exactly as they should be. Combined with friendly service, this establishment offers amazing value.
