I loved the little gingerbread man served with my cappuccino. I ordered the pesto pasta with bacon, feta and cherry tomatoes and I enjoyed it. My husband had a burger and it was disappointing. It was nice to sit outside, but I felt the service was average and possibly the ambience could be improved. I would go back here for a very casual lunch or breakfast.

What a great little spot to grab a light lunch. I had the best carrot cake here and the service was good. The play area was a bit small and not well looked after.

On this rather cloudy winter’s morning, I met a friend at this cafe for brunch. We were brave to have selected an outside seating, the only one of 2 tables. The waitress came through and took our beverage order and I had my usual cuppa of cappuccino while my friend had a coffee with cold milk.  The beverages were brought through in short order.Since my friend has been here many times, I decided to follow his lead and we both ordered the Breakfast pizzette (which incidentally on a slight tangent, the menu listed on Zomato is not the latest).  Our breakfast pizette arrived after a while and it looked scrumptious.  As I was ravenous, I dived straight in.  The pizza dough was thin and crispy, just the way I like it, scrambled eggs not too overly done and nicely seasoned, the bacon and mushrooms were perfectly cooked and all binded with lots of stringy mozzarella cheese.  I was extremely happy with the dish and as much as I wanted to gorge myself, I held back and had half and took the remaining half in a takeaway box.  Service was courteous and prompt, the setting in a garden was absolutely lovely.I most certainly would love to remain and sample the other items on their menu!

A cute, little hideaway in Bryanston, which is situated inside a Garden Shop, so you can enjoy a view of fresh flowers, instead of the usual Joburg parking lot. Great coffee and free wifi. Good, attentive service. I ordered a toasted sandwich which came quickly, tasted great, and was served with a generous portion of hot chips.
