Chilled vibe nothing fancy, great for families, food is good and a wide variety. Their costs have just gone up so careful of budgeting on the online menus for a while. Their bathroom facilities are not great. They have a baby chair which is helpful and a kiddies menu. Wine by the glass is decent and you don’t have to pay for parking. Was a chilled Sunday early dinner with the family around the corner so it’s handy, but a little pricey.
Absolutely terrible. I got served raw dough tramezzinis. I then asked for them to sort it out and they were still raw. I then called the manager who did not provide an adequate solution and had a poor attitude. I then still had to pay full price for a meal that I did not eat. On top of that, the service was shocking – they were not attentive. Will never return. This is not the first time I’ve been there, last time I was there I left because I waited for 10 minutes and didn’t even get offered drinks.
Gosh!! What has happened? Â Ordered two beers which surely would indicate 2 people but was only supplied one menu. Â Ordered a Gorgonzola and tomato foccacia and caesar salad all to share. Â Gee! I wish I had taken photographs of what we got. Â The salad which had far too many elements to be a caesar salad had no parmesan shavings at all. The dressing was nothing short of disgusting Ive had bottled versions that were much better. It was just pure vinegar . If there was anchovy it was drowned by the balsamic vinegar. In which world/planet does a caesar salad have balsamic vinegar in it anyway? Â The foccacia had so little gorgonzola on it that it was bitter and had a burnt flavour. I imagined the pizza with sizzling bubbly gorgonzola and large slices of ripe red tomatoes. The tomatoes were raw and were Bella or Rosa tomatoes plonked on top cold . To top it when I complained nobody bothered to come out to see if the problem could be rectified . Staff don’t make eye contact. Sense of apathy all around. Â What a pity! Needs serious injection of energy and attention to detail . Oh and the salad dressing dispensers dont work and are grubby and off putting. Â Cant have me back I am afraid.
