Bought an all you can eat sushi voucher for two off Daddy’s Deals for R150. Unfortunately, it was not worth it at all. The rice on the sushi was not cooked properly and their was hardly any salmon on all the pieces. I struggled to eat most of the sushi and the manager complained saying if we don’t like rice we must not order sushi. The sushi chefs also clean up the dirty plates and menus and don’t wash their hands before going back to prep for more sushi. We didn’t stay long or utilise the all you can eat special.
Good for a cheap sushi fix but the sushi isn’t all that great and leaves you wanting better sushi. I’d rather save the money and pay a little more elsewhere. The service however is great.
If I could give this place a ZERO stars review I would. I do not even want to embarrass the person that gave us the voucher by telling her how bad it was.Honestly the worst ‘Sushi’ I have had in my life. There was load-shedding when we arrived, but the lady running the place assured us that they were still running as normal, with candles set up on all the tables. The menu was limited to certain items for the ‘all you can eat’ part. The restaurant maybe had one table seated when we arrived. We placed our order which was not too large at all, maybe 8 or 9 dishes between two people, and after a long wait we then only got 2 dishes of the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. -mostly soggy wet rice, very poorly assembled, with very little meat/filling or anything else inside. Flavorless, bland and basically falling apart. We then continued to wait for the rest of our order for over an hour -all while Uber Eats deliveries were taking preferences over the customers seated inside. After the wait, I then had enough and requested the bill as I just wanted to leave, when they delivered another single item of our order that I then refused to eat as I knew it would be awful and I was fed up and just wanted to leave. I then noticed there was some plastic, yes PLASTIC, in one of the pieces of sushi. I showed the plastic to the lady running the place, and barely got an apology or anything. I paid for our drinks and just left. No idea how anyone could give this establishment a good review. They still even charged me for the additional sushi mayo which I hadn’t even touched. My advice will be to avoid this establishment at all costs. We ended up eating at McDonalds at 9pm, which we rarely do and that was a far better experience than this place.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Staff and owner very disorganized. Feel like the waiter literally is angry having to serve us. Had to ask 4 times to just place an order. Sat for 15 minutes before I was served and the only reason we stayed was cause we had a voucher. Feel utterly ripped off and annoyed I came here.
The spring rolls were a 3/5. However two hours after eating there last night I was hit with food poisoning and have been ill since. The rice in the hand roll was crunchy and the mayo tasted sour not tangy. The green tea never arrived. We utilized a hyperli and I wish we hand’t bothered going. I feel as though all I did was pay to be sick. The hostess was fairly nice though.
