  This place is pathetic. The service is very biased towards white people. Clearly waiters assume people of colour can’t pay tips so service is distinctly different, as observed by few other tablesWaiters keen to serve other tables while we wait 10 minutes for glass of water and later on the bill.Food quality is fairly poor, with stale bagels, funky smelling sausages. Coffee is ok, nothing to write home despite being their selling point and name of store.

  So got there in the morning to a crowded restaurant – good sign generally? But the service sucked as did the food. We waited 30 minutes for food / coffee and we waited 20 minutes for a bill; another 20 for pay machine – all with constantly following up. Would definitely not recommend.

  My wife and I chose this spot for our post hike brunch (and celebration of women’s day :-;The place was packed and we got lucky to get a table. We seated inside and immediately noticed the menu painted on the wall. We ordered a latte and cappuccino and I daresay this is the best coffee I have had in joburg!!My wife chose to have the breakfast bagel while I ordered mince on rye toast (the butter wrapped like a sweet was pretty cool). Both meals were decent (not amazing but value for money & well portioned). The surprise of the day was the gluten free carrot cake which came as a recommendation from our waiter. Service was decent with our waiter being very friendly, charming and professional.Overall, Naked is a place I would recommend for decent breakfast/brunch, AMAZING coffee.Food 4.5/5 (the coffee was a winner!!)Service 4/5Ambience 3.5/5Total 4/5
