  I’m not really a fan of frozen yogurt except for Marcel’s but this smooch is situated in an amazing spot. The strawberries and cream Fro-Yo is super yummy! It tastes amazing! I didn’t like any of the other flavors. All the other flavors tasted sour to me.

  This is my favourite frozen yoghurt place and have trouble leaving Sandton City without having a bit. I love the difference of all the flavors and all the toppings. My personal favorite is chocolate with crumbled fudge. Definitely recommend it if you stop by to shop around there.

  In the quest to indulge in some frozen yogurt on a public holiday I found myself at Smooch in Sandton. The kiosk type outlet located at the lower atrium of Sandton Shopping center entrance is probably one of the worst seating arrangements in the mall but nevertheless I wanted my fix. After frequenting Wakaberry I wondered if something as simple as a frozen yogurt can be easily replicated. That hypothesis was surely tested at Smooch as the consistency of frozen yogurt and subtle hint of flavours offered show that one can really mess that up. Your decadent thought of any tasty dessert indulgence goes crashing down making you feel why in the world did I ever cheat on my beloved Wakaberry. Tried a few flavours of classic vanilla, mint, strawberry and cream as well as fruit berries and every single taste flavour was not dominantly mixed in the yogurt making it a very subtle taste of any flavour. The consistency of mix was not solid enough which all makes for a poor presentation of product whilst pouring it in your cup. The kiosk lacks basic amenities of clean plastic spoons as it looked reused as well as the tacky seating couches which is in need of some maintenance. In all a premium price product which does not even come close to the taste profile of Wakaberry to make me a repeat customer.

  Super expensive, mediocre service, machines are dirty and gross and the yogurt average. I had peppermint and milo mix which was ok, but my nut sprinkles was stale and old. Husband had the strawberry nesquick flavour and it was almost sour.

  While most people go to Smooch for their frozen yogurt, we go to Smooch for their chicken mayo toasted sandwiches and tramezzinis. These are absolutely delicious and have a generous amount of filling in them and are served with a side of crispy potato chips. They also serve up some really great Lavazza coffee. The service is a little slow and could do with improvement but it’s the perfect little spot for a snack in between shopping.
