Horrendous nightclub. The theft that goes on here is unbelievable! As a group of 7 friends, we have had about 5 cellphones stolen here. Further, the club is very racist toward people who are not the majority. If you value your belongings, do not go to Taboo.
I think the general theme with clubs is that they do so much promo work to get you inside and eventually they treat you like s#*% Terrible service.
Taboo is an age old favourite of mine, and has really stood the test of time. I actually worked here in my student days, and Chris (and Ammar) run a tight ship. Great music, excellent vibes and lots of great girls nights out have been had here. They take both their security and your experience seriously, which is probably the reason that its done as well as it has. Best nights to be here.. Saturday! *Recommendation: You cannot go wrong booking a table for a girls night out here!
My boyfriend thought it would a nice classy club for us to go have some fun. We sat at tables that did not specify you needed to by a bottle to sit. Rude waitress came twice to let us know we are not allowed to sit on these bar style chairs and if she will give us 5mins to finish our drinks so we could either move or by a really expensive bottle for the two of us? I definitely won’t be going to Taboo again we left shortly after. Waste of money and a night out!
