This place could be SO much better!! Exciting menu but lacking in taste. I ordered their sliders (Mediterranean, Cheese and Caesar Chicken) with a Peanut Brittle Milkshake. Burgers were dry and tasteless. Do not be fooled by their name.
Food is genuinely ok but the service was really poor, the waiter never seemed bothered on checking up on us. We even had to go fetch our own bill to pay.
We have found a burger bar perfect for ye good matesBefore dinner we got ourselves some of our favourite cocktails, a Long Island Ice Tea and a Frozen Strawberry Margarita. They were very reminiscent of when I was in Highschool and mixed my own drinks. Drinks filled with alcohol and barely drinkable. Drinks that were only made to get drunk on. Suffice to say, just stick to beer here.We started our evening with Jalapeño Poppers, which were four of the most glorious poppers we ever had. Crispy fried poppers filled with cheesy goodness that burns, but not too much, just enough to have you go back for more. We obviously ordered a burger, but weren’t sure which one so we decided on a Gourmet Classic single Bacon & Cheese, which did not disappoint. There is a reason why this place is called Great Burger Company. With the burger we ordered a full rack of beef ribs which had a nice BBQ basting, but was a bit of a letdown as it wasn’t as fall of the bone tender that we are used to, clearly this is not the Great Rib Company.Our waitress might not have been a friendly chatty Kathy, but she was on top of her game. Never making us wait, getting all orders to us quickly, and keeping our table spick-and-span. The manager came over to ask how things were going so we explained to him the problem with the cocktails, and he immediately offered to replace them. So there was really nothing we could fault with the service.Clean and inviting café feeling type of bar with TVs to show the current sport’s game while we sit at comfortable tables and take in the painted art on the walls. Definitely a great environment to just hang out with friends and family while grabbing a bite and a beer.Value for money? We would say so.
