Wimpy was renowned for decades for its coffee.It is now awful and tastes like a cheap blend. My next Sandton City visit will include breakfast at Mugg and Bean which far surpasses Wimpy in every respect. Sad to see the decline.Wimpy in new position went back today. That’s it for me and Wimpy. Order delivered incomplete so had to request the extras. Came separately. Arrived and food cold sent back. If it were possible I would rate it a minus star. Worst ever. This is an upmarket mall. Then no butter for the toast. You judge would you go back ?

Went here after movie. Wimpy is my first choice always when we have to for breakfast. They have a great variety of breakfast options and the taste is also very good. Cheese omelette with hash brownies is my favourite here. Tried pinacolada shake here ans it was amazing.
I ordered breakfast and asked for no bread and no chips – I was happy to pay for it since it came with the meal, I just didn’t want it in my plate as the food will be wasted. I don’t eat bread at all. I asked for a slice of cheese with my breakfast.I received my food, there was chips and bread, but the worst was that the cheese was melted into the bread, so I couldn’t even have the cheese I paid extra for. I ordered via Uber eats, so I couldn’t send it back. I informed the restaurant, but didn’t even get an apology.
