Greasy Wimpy style food. The bakery is average. Nothing particularly impressive and you’ll generally find fresher rolls and bread at the next door Pick ‘n Pay. Some of the speciality breads are nice though. Cakes and pastries are below average.

I most often visit their bakery, which has wonderful cakes, breads, as well as (special mention) Chocolate Croissants. The meals I have eaten there, however, have been a disappointment. The pizzas are average, the chips not nice at all, and their breakfasts are OK, except for their bottomless coffee, which is so bad it should be thrown down a bottomless pit. The filter coffee is only just drinkable. As I need a good coffee with a breakfast, this will simply not do. I will rather just buy their cakes, especially the Fudge Cake, which is moist and delicious.

This is probably one of the most delicious breakfasts I’ve had in a very long time. My companion and I both had the De Klerk breakfast which is 3 rashers of bacon, two eggs, fried tomato, chips and 2 slices of toast. The chips, toast and tomato were all thick cut and everything was made to perfection. It’s as home made as it’s going to get. I had a cuppachino and my companion almost died and went to heaven with their perfect version of a strawberry milkshake. Siphiso (aka Stretch) was always watching from a distance and made sure that we were happy and taken care of. It’s a no frills place, but sometimes that is also just great. Their menu is entertaining as are some of the posters on the wall. Someone there has an amazing sense of humour. I will definitely be back.

Have been coming here for awhile for breakfast on the weekends. I usually have the Tutu (2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 much mushrooms), they have an interesting menu and makes for some fun reading. Service is friendly while a little bit slow. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and good coffee.
