I always judge my sushi takeaway places on three things, the freshness of the product, the price of the product and how generous they are with their soy sauce and ginger. Best of Asia Pineslopes has ticked all three of these boxes for me. If you’re in the fourways area and feel the need for some good sushi, Best of Asia is the place to go.

On the 18 Feb 2018, I took my two boys to Best of Asia – Fourways Pineslopes for a Sunday sushi treat (they had a Sunday 50% off special on sushi). When we sat down I saw a cockroach on my chair.. I got the waitresses’ attention and she caught the cockroach. During our lunch a second cockroach appeared where my son was sitting, once again I got the waitresses’ attention to catch it. There was funny smell in the restaurant and I noticed that the food was left open on the sushi preparation table and once again I saw more cockroaches…That was where I told my son that we are packing up! I’ve never been SO disgusted. I regret not taking photos for evidence to share.
It must be under new management because the sweet and sour pork was boiled pork with no pineapple and tasted like NOTHING.The egg fried rice was rice with no egg but an awful tasting orange sauce was poured over the rice.The oyster beef was so awful and the crispy chicken was Not crispy and had no sesame seeds or chilli.i will NEVER get takeaways from there again
