Cute little cafe in the bird park, stopped in for lunch. The kids area is fab with lovely slides. Our waiter was really friendly and went out of her way for us. The food was great, well priced! Definitely a great way to end such a fun outing.
Although this place has a fantastic setting, with a great kids play area, the terrible service is what makes this Cafe a no-go, which really is a pity. It took forever for someone to come take our order, drinks and food were served in staggered stages. I ordered a chicken wrap that had not a single piece of chicken in it-just grilled mushrooms. It was edible- probably because we were hungry- but I would definitely steer clear of this place. It has such potential, but sadly poor service ruins an otherwise lovely venue!
The service here leaves quite a bit to be desired. As for the food – average. Nothing amazing but it really is just a quick stop for a cheap lunch with the family before or after strutting around the bird park. I’d much rather go to many of the other Monte restaurants and then go to the bird park. It’s a pity as I think the area and set up could work wonders if managed properly
