This was one of the 1st places that I actually tried this branch . Totally loved it. I was greeted by all the staff and that alone made me feel extremely special. This was the 1st time I had this awesome maze meal base pizza’s Great place and awesome pizza’s must eat it while it’s hot as its not to great cold
ahhhh man you know that terrible experience where you try something in a different country and a couple years later you’re so excited to try it this side but then its bad and ruins your life and you feel like going back in time and not having dominos in new zealand cause then atleast your experience wouldn’t affect those awesome memories you had those days when life was still good and birds sang and donald trump wasn’t president. sigh*well this is one of those experiences i mean i know they’re trying, i see it and its like those relationships where the person really is trying their best but you just cant get past the fact that they have smelly feet. i ordered my pizza with so many expectations, and when i finally took that first bite my world came to an end. now the reason i say i know they’re trying is because when i took that first bite the pizza had just come out the oven and for a split second i could taste something that resembled fresh ingredients, i swear i tasted it, but a few minutes later it was gone and i was left with a sad tasteless processed pizza. now i must say, the dough they use is much better than their competitors. and i guess in their league they are probably the better pizza guys, i dont enjoy that bow tie man , i don’t enjoy those pizza’s that weren’t built in a day, i really dont like the mini motorbike ones either and the hut from which those come arent good too. so i guess if the world was coming to an end and i really felt for pizza and those were my only ptions then yes dominos would win hands down. but in a world of real fresh pizza’s where you have the option to choose these guys come off short and its sad really because they could’ve been great. but again everyone has their preferences and a couple of my uncultured friends do enjoy really plasticy no taste food better than they would a fresh salmon and cream cheese pizza, so each to his own i guess. but for me its a miss
Dominos rivonia is the best! I have tried a few other branches in jhb and Pta and this one is the best! I love the maize flour pizza bases! Tastes best when it’s warm! I prefer to eat it at the branch then take it home.A variety of toppings available.
We ordered Dominoes via their app which was fun and simple to use. Within no time our food was delivered hot and it was super tasty! I really like the box it comes in as well – interesting design. Price wise, its like most pizza places so you do get what you pay for. Will be sure to try them out again!
