This place is my happy place. The buffet is always delicious, nutritious, simple flavours that make my heart warm like mom’s cooking!The manager, Linde, greets me with a smile and by name (as she does all her customers) and always before going through what the kitchen has prepared with me.Off the menu, the freshly squeezed juices are divine, the burger almost feels guilt free and falafel wrap is one of the best I’ve had!

MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IN JOHANNESBURG. Fruits and Roots is a really cute restaurant with the best buffet I’ve ever had. It’s out daily and there are always loads of vegan options such as curries, bakes, salads, grains etc. their menu is also amazing (the wraps are great) with really generous portions.
The most pathetic, dry, tasteless food ever. The veg chickn mayo is filled with huge chunky slices of avocado and does not list about as an ingredient on the order in menu. Highly allergic to avo!!! If only that was the worst thing though. How is the salad even dry??? Gives veg and vegan food a bad name. Vomit.
