Terrible, been going for years, new management, really bad staff, it opens early, however the staff sit around and eat, can’t get a drink and your bill till after 12, no till slips, they just decide on the amount, been ripped off 3 times R180 for 4 draughts, it’s horrible and extremely noisy bat staff, continuously shouting at each other, rather go to the dros down the road

For sure, people don’t come here for the food. I had a fried chicken burger, nice enough idea, tasteless execution. Partner had nachos, bland and tasteless with dribbles of ground beef here and there. Tjis was actually impressive, they cover the thing in pickled jalapeno slices which tasted like they were pickled in water, they had no taste. None.nothing. But its a bar. So eating is secondary to its primary function of being a place where a guy can see some boets and have a dop. So for that, if that’s what you want, its perfectly fine. Oh, service is fine, price is reasonable. Eat for 150 a head with a drink or 2.
Good vibe and good beer here. Unfortunately the menu on here is not current and when we went, the only vegetarian items were on the snack list, as the veg platter is no longer on the menu, so we can’t really go there for dinner. They snacks are nice though and we do enjoy the vibe
Stella Artois on tap and the best steak and Guiness pie in town.Lôses a star due to not having mushy peas.Also the hake n chips were good too.
