Decided to pop in for a lovey Sunday breakfast & sat outside on the decking to enjoy the sun. My chair leg fell through the decking & I fell & cut my lip open. The waiters were incredibly apologetic & helpful but the manager thought a simple sorry would suffice. The situation was not handled appropriately and they “fixed” the hole in the decking by putting an umbrella on top of it. Best of luck to next customer who chooses to sit on the decking & deals with the insensitive manager.
I first dined here a few years ago when it was quite new. At that time, I was very impressed although the manager was sometimes a little unapproachable. Having been back there recently, it’s simply brilliant. Waitstaff are attentive without being intrusive, management with a personal and caring touch, brilliant meal and super atmosphere. This is most certainly one of the better restaurants in the Fourways area.
