This week we decided to visit the Braai Room again. This time we tried the burgers and I will be honest, the burgers are perhaps the best we have ever had! Keep up the good work Braai Room!
If you want to have meat and only meat, this is a great place because they apparently grow (or are at least heavily involved) and process their own meat. The meat tasted fresh and was pleasant to eat. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered a burger and I tasted both. We also had a great waiter. Pity I forgot his name. Ever so eager to help even though he kept disappearing. This was weird because the establishment was pretty empty when we went.The sucky things are: They didn’t have a drinks or dessert menu when we were there ☹️. There is little else that annoys me at a restaurant than having to beg the waiter to tell me what drinks they have. Then he asks me what drinks I want. Then I tell him I want to know what they have to know what I want. Then him calling out a long list of drinks and forgetting some. Then me asking for a drink that he forgot to mention and finding out that they have it. That exchange is annoying. They only had a brownie and ice cream as dessert options. I ordered the brownie. It tasted like something my amateur cooking hands would have made. Definitely NOT worth the price tag. The place is a bit cold because it has a “butchery” on site. But they had heaters on and they provide little fleece blankets. This helped during a winter night.

Don’t know if it had something to do with the aging, did not like the taste. It was served with salad, which was ok. The decor was simple not much to comment on.
This was our first time here. The meat is really good. 4 of us had steaks, all done nicely expect one which was a little overdone. I ordered a rare steak and it was perfect. Potions are quite large and prices are reasonable so it’s good value for money. Ambience is not great. Service is very slow. If you’re looking for a well priced decent steak and no frills, this is a good place to go.
We stopped here for a simple lunch. The burger was grilled to perfection. The staff were super friendly and delighted to help. Ambience was ok, but all in all a good place for a quick bite
