Waited more than a half an hour for our order (empty restaurant) only to be told my wife’s food is ready but they don’t have penne. So I had to settle with fettuccine. Why couldn’t they have told me that when I placed my order?

Went there for lunch with colleagues yesterday. Was very disappointed. We only had a sandwich and sushi and non-alcoholic drinks and the bill came to R400 for the 3 of us. Very expensive and the smallest pieces of sushi I’ve seen. The sandwich looked good but at R90 is a bit steep. Unfortunately won’t go back.

This is probably the nicest kosher restaraunt in town for a sitdown meal. The prices are reasonable for what you get. It gets quite busy in the evenings so I would recommend to book before you go. Great lamb and meat dishes available – sadly not too many veg options. Nice food!

My wife came to my office as she is on leave and we shot off for a quick, very rare, lunch together. Baby & all. This restaurant looked interesting from outside even if there was only one occupied table inside. When we walked in there was no one to greet & meet us. We stood & stood & stood. Eventually a waiter came over to us & mumbled something we couldn’t understand. We gathered we needed to select a table. We choose one where the pram would not be in the way but no one helped us move the chair that was blocking the way or even escorted us to the table. We looked at the menu & when we saw the shocking price of a simple curry (more expensive than Hyde Park) we decided the whole experience was too unpleasant & we left. No one asked why we were leaving or even said goodbye. Boy, I think we dodged a potential disaster with this one.

Went for dinner last night and frankly wasn’t that impressed. The ribs were not worth the price and were too tough. Not bad ambience for such a restaurant though- has potential.
