Really friendly staff, the pasta Nero was fantastic, and oysters incredibly fresh. The pollo parpadelle was on the salty side but the pasta itself was cooked to perfection.
A very stylish restaurant. It is has a sense of calmness to it. Beautiful decor as-well. I recommend this for anyone looking for a stylish, over the top experience.I recommend the mojito, very delicious.
A little revamp has happened and the menu has also been updated. I’ve been here a number of times most recently August 2018 and was disappointed in their high tea and wouldn’t recommend it at that point. However being here today, watching the management and staff being fully attentive and friendly, it seems things have changed.Today, on a sunny Sunday we opted to sit on thr outsidr terrace overlooking the gardens and koi pond, beautiful setting. The lunch menu differs from dinner but I was happily accommodated with the seafood risotto off the dinner menu. We started with some cocktails then moved on to wine. They have an excellent selection of wines and a number of by the glass options too. We shared the crispy calamari as a starter which was absolutely delicious served with goats cheese, olives, aioli and slightly blistered tomotoes. Mains I had the seafood risotto, which was loaded with shrimps, calamari topped with some mussels, crispy calamari and a queen prawn. It was a tomoto based risotto that hit all the right flavours. The kingklip fish and chips was average in comparison. Service was excellent. A nice way to spend a chilled lazy sunday afternoon.
I was particularly impressed that they would make almond milk cappuccinos as part of the high tea. Each of the little treats to eat was beautifully decorated and tasty. Definitely not a generic “cucumber sandwich”.Highly recommend high tea here.
Soothing ambience, not over crowded, amazing setting. Every thing about the food was droolworthy. The staff are very polite, warm and friendly. Wonderful experience!
