Haven’t been to the Raj in ages, considering 80% of our family was fasting(not eating meat), thought it would be a great place for a birthday lunch. Food was far below average even a meal sent back to the kitchen came back the same (probably just reheated). The service was faultless. Unfortunately we came for the food not the service. Will never step foot back in this restaurant.

It was worst food I ever had. Staff was so rude. Food presentation was not proper. After finishing food, waiter took 20-25 min for invoice. I asked the reason for delay of invoice and he stared argument. I will give rating 0 out of 5. I visited The Raj Monte casino first and last time.
This nice Indian restaurant is located in the shopping complex surrounding Nelson Mandela square in the upscale Sandton area of Johannesburg. The food was good and so was the service. No complaints.
