It may be voted best sushi in Jhb, but, I’m pretty sure they didn’t have to wait more than 20 mins for Sushi.Do not go to this place if it’s more than 80% full. The staff does not have capacity to satisfy orders in a timely manner. Absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait for food

I was extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the food when I was there on a date. Sushi order took 35mins and was incorrect when it arrived. Drinks took 15mins, for a beer and lemonade. When we asked for the manager he didn’t even try to make things right. We even had to pay for the incorrect food item we didn’t ask for. The manager was completely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. And the sushi was terrible after waiting so long I’d expect better. Date 1 June 2019.
Excellent options and variety of sushi but the service is just appalling. I have been on many occasions because the sushi is good and reasonably priced but the level of service just gets worse and worse. If you can put up with that though, it’s worth going for the Monday half-price sushi
