Totally tasteless sugarbean Gatsby via MR. Delivery, which forced me to dash for the toilet straight away (after 1 bite). Avoid at all costs.
Ordered mutton bunnies for takeaway. The taste itself was really average, wasn’t too spicy and there are lots of meat pieces but only 1/4 potato. The meat isn’t the best quality either. I did not eat it immediately so it was a bit dry but I did appreciate that they provided extra gravy without me specifically requesting it. The carrot salad comes with a huge green chilli and had a nice vinegary taste to it. The staff were quite friendly and service was not too long. I just don’t think the taste justifies the price (>R100!).
Lamb curry was super bland and tasteless, no potatoes even after asking, samoosas were saltless, food definately doesnt have flavour! i am from Durban and thats not Durban chows! rice was also not cooked fully, i went there because of recommendations! will not be going again!
