About
Casa Marani Restaurant & Deli is the creation of mother-daughter duo Graziella Marani and Daniela Atia. The two share a long-standing passion for food, feeding people and good service and wanted to share this passion with Johannesburg. Casa Marani Restaurant & Deli is located in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. Born in Milano, Italy, in 1946. Graziellas parents immigrated to South Africa in 1961 to Standerton to start a wool textiles factory, where a number of Italians had settled. Her love for authentic Italian food started young as her family found ways to bring in authentic Italian products like Parma hams and Parmigiano into South Africa, when it wasnt freely availableDetails

We were really looking forward to this visit it sadly felt let down by service and the food. Parma ham salad the rocket was tired and limp and the seafood pasta didn’t have enough sauce. Nothing we had was great

We are becoming regulars here – the melawach bread, humus, chopped salads and shakshuka are spectacular, better than their peers at Pablo Eggsgobar. Good coffee too. They serve Italian lunch and dinner, haven’t tried them but willing to bet they are good.
An italian deli in street lined of Parkhurst restaurants had cappuccino and sandwich was really tasty . Service was good and friendly and they bring water to the table which is very Meditterean custom .
Very nice paninis , great selection of meats and cheeses. Very affordable and even have frozen pastas and daises to take home
