  My main issues with Kong was on their midweek event on Tuesdays they refuse to let anyone sit down unless they are purchasing bottle service. They charged R15 for lime juice in my shot of Tequila. ( the shot was only R30) Then they added automatic Tipping to be standing in heels at the bar with lack luster customer service. The have no menu to see the selection of what you’re even ordering, so you don’t even know what brand of tequila you’re getting once you order it. The crowd on that Tuesday was a little bit over 19 years old so if you’re traveling into Johannesburg this is not the spot to be. The decor looks cool but really it’s overall cheesy.

  Came here for a birthday recently and expected to be blown away a bit more.Firstly, I’m sure they are just trying to set the mood, but the poor lighting is horrible. You couldn’t properly see your food and my eyes actually hurt after a while.We ordered chicken wings, which were quite pricy considering we literally only received 6 tiny pieces. I then had the Phad Thai – it was good, but not great. I enjoy Simply Asia’s Thai food more.Overall, the service was good and the food wasn’t bad – I just expected a bit better.

  Honestly literally one of the worst experiences I ever had. My sister was to celebrate her birthday at Kong so obviously we contacted the club in advance to make arrangements only to be turned down at the door because our contact completely misinformed us. I have never been so disrespected in my life.

  My favorite restaurant in the fourways area. Their sushi , dumplings , gyoza and hongkong pears are always good. Their angry duck is furious , just the way we like it. Its bin to long since we’ve been there.

  I must say the bouncers do their job very well in ensuring that us females are safe however I found the the manager (or at least I think so)himself is very rude and the seating arrangements are a mess ,my friends and I were to sitting down at one of the tables one evening and the bouncers after we had bought 2 bottles which are mind you are already ridiculously priced were told that we need to move when we enquired why? we were told to look for an asian man (whom his name I have forgotten) when we did finally manage to speak to him was quite rude and said that we needed to have 3 bottles to sit ,I’m sorry but does it make sense to your patrons do have to stand by the bar awkwardly with a buckets while drinking ,please fix this your club is fun but service is cr*p.
