Sat outside the store for an hour, was waiting for someone but no service, no coffee, no staff! When the guys I was waiting for arrived we left and went to Starbucks! Don’t you hate it when you want to support local and they don’t even open the door or put a notice up? So many customers walked away as the store was closed. Don’t bother.
Went through on Saturday for a walk around Rosebank and Parktown North, stumbled across Priest Espresso Bar! Love the look of the place, the Parquet wall and the tiled floors are awesome. It’s got a cool vibe, coffee was good, but wasn’t the best. With the emerging coffee culture in Jhb, this spot is definitely one to try out.. but competition is really stiff in the area and they just weren’t the best of a pretty good bunch.

Eclectic vibe – cool place to work from (free wifi) – nice coffee – love that in the back there is a functional office. will be eating at my next visit.
