This was one of the better dining experiences we’ve had after arriving in South Africa. I had missed Spur while abroad and the Rosebank branch did not disappoint. We came for brunch and ordered two steak, egg and chips platters, a cheddarmelt, the new Portuguese steak and some spicy wings. All the steak were cooked to medium, the way we ordered it. The food was amazing, especially the sauce used over the Portuguese steak. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back the next time we’re in Johannesburg. Thanks to the staff for making our time memorable with excellent and friendly service.
Our server, Welly, was fantastic.We were there for a special occasion and he accommodated us all the way.I had a full portion of chicken wings, which I think is outrageously expensive, R123 for 16 wings and a portion of chips; my companions had pork ribs and the other had a beef burger. My companions then had a milkshake and a Bar-One ice cream. All tasted good
