So this is my family’s hang out or rather was. I love Thaba Eco Hotel, the scenery nature that surrounds the restaurant is divine. It is beautiful. But the restaurant is disappointing!!! I room my family thrice to celebrate some milestones. And in all occasions, they didn’t have the freshly squeezed juices but they are on the menu. My issue is I’ve been the for the past 2 years and they have some of my favorite drinks on the menu but when I order they don’t have. I think they must remove dishes and drinks that they don’t have in the menu. It gives the wrong impression.On the night of the 23rd my husband and I decide the share this wors pizza and it was surprisingly great. I for sure enjoyed it. I think it’s so big for one person though.

Mom had lamb curry which was not nice, my husband had their steak with livers which was bitter and the manager dismissed it as not being true and I had the lamb shank which lacked flavor altogether. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Lovely staff, stunning breath taking views and great atmosphere. I only ordered their seafood menu when I’m there as it’s very fresh and tastes amazing. I’ve tried their lunch and dinner menu. Very close to home. My go to place when I want to show off what the south of jhb has in store!
